Vegas!

My mom and I snuck off to Vegas for my 32nd Birthday. It was so fun to not have any responsibilities for a few days, eat at nice restaurants, lay by the pool and shop. I mised my girls like crazy but really enjoyed my trip.

My little Maya

Last Saturday I got to sneek over to The Landons to play with my little God Daughter Maya. I have not seen her forever so it was an extra special treat for me! I can't believe how cute she is and how quickly she is growing up! The past few times I had seen her she only wanted her mama but this day she was lovin me, playing with me and laughing with me. Nothing fills your heart like the sounds of a precious baby! Thanks guys for a fantastic visit and I look forward to many more!

Happy Birthday...

Thursday night was my Birthday dinner with the Ya ya's. It was also Heathers Birthday! I just love sharing the month of June with Heather. It's like a little present in itself getting to just be her friend! We ate at the melting pot and completely overindulged on cheese, wine and chocolate. Yummy :) I can't imagine a day without these girls in my life. I am so thankful for them and love that after 8 years we still get together to just celebrate each other!

Mating Bugs, Jellyfish and Baby birds

So this was my week... I walked out of my front door and these bugs were so happily mating.. EEeewww.. Trust me the backside view was even more awkward!

Then we go to the beach and the girls were collecting dead jellyfish..

Then last night my cat decided to find a nest of baby birds in my tree and knock it down. These little baby birds were all over my yard. Aren't they SO CUTE!! I wanted to nurture them and make everything better for them but I knew I could not. This one the girls named chippy because he would not stop chirping the whole night!

Showering Shelly

Sunday was Shelly's bridal shower at Dukes Chowder house. It was a beautiful afternoon full of friends, family, food and lots of fun! Shelly is such an amazing friend and I am so lucky to have her in my life. I love how big her heart is and how you can see it on her face in every smile she gives. Tom is a very lucky man and I can see why he fell head over heels in love with her! I can hardly wait for the upcoming wedding festivities!!

Putt Putt

Saturday evening I took Mara and Mikey for a little Putt Putt. They totally beat me and loved every second of it.


I think they have secret crushes on each other. Well why wouldn't Mara with that cute little Mikey face!!

Congrats Collin

The girls were loving my mom at the party. What a bunch of goofy girls!!

Collin graduated from Highschool last week. Great job on your success and may you have many more in your future!! We love you!!

Sound to Narrows

The girls and I ran the Sound to Narrows Saturday morning. Mara and I did the 2k junior shuffle and then I ran my race. THis is my most favorite race of the year. Families, Fun, Freebies and Freedom!!

Goodbye First Grade

Mara graduated first grade last week. This has been such an amazing year with just wonderful teachers. Although we are looking forward to second grade we will really miss Mrs.Leach and Mrs. Tichy!! What a blessing they have both been to my family. I can hardly believe I now have a 2nd grade daughter!!

Trouble with a capital T!





Today Gracelyn got to go over to Mia's for a playdate. The girls had such a fun time swimming, running around, torturing the dog and eating a yummy lunch. These two have such a love hate relationship. They fight, makeup and break up all in the same afternoon. Isn't that called "Best Friends". Gracelyn calls Mia her best friend and says prayers for her every night. These two are just too sweet for words!!
