Merry Christmas

Christmas was a success yet again. The girls were showered with many wonderful gifts. The days were spent with family, going to church, celebrating the birth of our savior, eating, playing, baking, cooking and unwrapping a lot of presents. It was a wonferful few days and we were so grateful to have been able to of spent it with my 95 year old auntie. I hope you and yours had just a wonderful holiday as we did. Merry Christmas!

Christmas Morning

Christmas Day

Reunion

Wednesday night was the 2nd annual Bellarmine "non-reunion" reunion. It was at Puget Sound Pizza and it was a blast. I got to catch up with some good old friends for some stories, laughter and christmas cocktails. Good Times...

Mommy & Daughter's Day Out..

Tuesday Mara and I along with Jocelyn and McKenna went up to Seattle for shopping, eating and The Rockettes. The afternoon was so much fun and the girls had an amazing time. There is nothing better then Seattle in the winter during Christmas. The cool weather, decorations, carolers and people make it so worth the trip! I love one on one time with each of my girls. I am pretty sure Mara loves it too!!

Every year I take Mara to see the Nutcracker but this year we switched it up with the Rockettes. The show blew me away and I have decided that this will be a new tradition. The show was just amazing and appropriate for all ages. It was cheery, festive and at the same time very moving.

Just plain cute!

Gracelyn was all dolled up for her Christmas program at school. I was in my room getting ready when I decided to check on her. I went into the kitchen and look what she had added to the outfit. My orange Harley hat... I was told that she was wearing it because it matched her outfit! Don't worry I won the battle but she did look pretty sporty and cute in it!

Parties Parties

The days have been filled with so much Christmas fun.. The Marstons had a great kid party where we went to zoolights, ate pizza, decorated cookies, exchanged gifts and we even got a special visit from SANTA!! The kids had an absolute blast and made so many memories.

Then that following week we got to go to Debbies house for an ornament painting party. Debbie has been a friend of mine for many many years and it all started because of pottery! I was working at Art and Soul and she was a customer of mine. Our friendship has grown so much this year and the kids as well as Debbie and I are really enjoying our time together. Thanks for the great time Deb!

Wright Park

Gracelyn and I took my great auntie Diana(95) to the Wright Park Conservatory to look at all the beautiful Christmas flowers. Gracelyn got to feed the fish, smell the flowers and she even snuck a cookie that the lady behind the counter had. I guess it pays to be cute :)

Gingerbread Men

This year the girls decided they wanted to do gingerbread men instead of houses. It actually was a great idea because I was able to string them and hang them up on the tree.

Like most baking projects in our house I think more was eaten then actually put on the cookie!

Now for December..

December started off with a bang. I welcomed the month with the start of Festival of Tress. The event was a huge success but I am completely exhausted and feel like I just came out of a hurricane. Regardless I had fun and on Sunday I took the girls over there to see the trees and to get a quick pic with Santa!

Then they wrote letters to the man in the big red suit!

Quick Novemeber recap.. then comes December

Mara had her soccer banquet... Great Job Sweetie

Gracelyn had her first Fathers Feast at School. The kids made projects for their daddys and enjoyed a very special meal that they helped prepare!

I got to spend some time with this lil turkey Addyson..

Gracelyn decided that she was a Barbie 3 Musketeers girl. I made up this costume and she has pretty much worn it everyday since. Thanks goodness for creativity!!

My mom turned "51" so we celebrated with a little party at our house!

My sister and I took the girls to Seattle for the day. They had a blast at the Childrens Museum!

Of couse we celebrated Thanksgiving! I served in the morning and then brought Pappa home for a few hours..

The Saturday after Thanksgiving we got to go up North to Mayas 1st Birthday Party.. It was so fun!!
