I found them!!

Ok so your prayers and positive thoughts worked!! I found my rings!!!!

I was making Maras lunch tonight and I was looking for the cream cheese. It is always in the main part of the fridge but for some reason I could not locate it. I decided to pull open the cheese drawer on the bottom. It wouldn't budge so I pulled harder and low and behold my ring came flying out. I jumped, screamed and danced.. My kids were looking at my like I was a crazy lady but who cares!! They are found and I am so thankful!!!

I think last Thursday when I was unloading my Costco items it some how slipped off and got caught up in the drawer. Well however it happened doesn't really matter because they are back on my hand now. I have strict orders to get them re-sized tomorrow and that is exactly what I intend to do!!!

YAY!!!!

Sad

Ok.. so although there were a lot of great things that happened last week there was also something very horrible that happened. I lost my wedding rings!!! Not sure how or when but they are gone. Maybe when I was running those cold mornings on the waterfront?? Anyways say a little prayer for me that they get found soon. My heart is breaking over it and I feel like tears fill my eyes every time I think about it. I know it is just a thing but there is so much sentimental value behind those things that they could never be replaced!!!

Pray for good citizens who will turn stuff in. I know I would!!

Cookie Monsters

The Nino kiddos have been staying with us for a few days while mom and dad enjoyed a few days in fabulous Las Vegas. Here were a couple pics of their last night here. I made chocolate chip cookies and from their faces I think they enjoyed them!!

Fall Carnival

Friday night was the fall carnival at First Pres. It was wild and crazy fun!! There were jump houses, giant slides, games, arts and crafts, face painting and pony rides!! I have been to a lot of carnivals and this one always takes the cake. So much time and effort is put into making this a spectacular event for the families. Next year you should come.. It is open to all families!!

Gracelyn had so much fun but her most favorite part was the pony rides. I could have left her on that horse the entire night!

Peaceful

Our morning walks are so peaceful and fun. Her is a pic that I thought captured the morning serenity of the waterfront. It is the same folks every morning and Gracelyn now officially has a fan club!! Who wouldn't want to see that cute little face at 8 am every morning???

V.I.P

Yesterday I got to join Mara for chapel. There she was awarded a Very Important Pupil Award for Encouragement. Mrs. Leach nominated her for her caring ways and for being a friend to all. That makes me proud!! Great Job Sweetie!!

After chapel she got to join the head of school(Mr. Thoburn) for a sweet treat.

The Mad Painter

Gracelyn and I had a stay at home day yesterday so we did lots of Arts and Crafts. The painting was her favorite part and boy did she get really into it. By the end she had climbed on the counter and painted herself as well as the pictures...

My little Picasso...

Old Friends

Tueday afternoon Gracelyn and I snuck up to Southcenter to meet old friends. Mackenzie and Renee!!!

Mac is almost ready to give birth to her baby girl Maya so we thought we would sneek one more lunch date in before her world gets crazy...

It was so great seeing these two and laughing about old times and the things we used to do! Thank goodness for old age because I could never fly at the pace we used to!!

Thanks girls for a fun lunch date... See ya when Maya arrives..

Celine!!

Ok so if you know me at all you know that I just love Celine Dion. I get ranked on a lot for it but I simply don't care. This woman is amazing!!! For all the years she was in Vegas I never actually went to her show. I was there, I could feel her presence but I never did it. Mostly because Justin was never with me or I was in Vegas for other purposes but it just never happened. Then on my 30th Birthday Justin was deployed but he sent me a Happy Birthday e-mail with the Celine logo from Caesars Palace. I thought.. I am finally getting to go....

Not so much.. After being unable to get tickets because it was her last few months performing and being invited to Sarah and Arts beautiful Hawaiian wedding we decided to put the pocket book away and save our Celine pennies for our Hawaii trip(at this point I actually knew she was coming to Tacoma so I was ok with it).

But tonight Sarah and I made up for it by getting to sit in awesome seats for the most amazing show ever. The music, lights and dancers were just breathtaking!! This lady knows how to put on a show. I can finally say I am completely satisfied and am so thankful to have been able to go to such a great show with such and awesome friend!! Luv you Tich :)

Tree Climbing

Today after school I walked the girls over to Wright Park to play in the leaves, climb trees and enjoy the cool crisp fall day.

Punkin Patch 2008

It's that time of the year again..
Monday afternoon we made our way out to the pumpkin patch for our annual family trip. This is one of my most favorite family outings we do. The girls run free and get to feel, touch and play around all the pumpkins, corn and animals. This year we returned to Spooner Farms because it is our favorite! Gracelyn finally understands what pumpkins are and she was all over it!!

Mara thought the giant spider was cool but...

Gracelyn thought it was real and was a bit hesitant!

Gracelyn also kept on giggling every time she would pick up a pumpkin. It was precious!!

The girls found these white ones right away and there was no changing their minds. We were getting them.

Gracelyn loved it so much she licked it!! YUCK!!!

Uh Oh.. Gracelyn and Pumpkin fall down.

Justy and Me.. Mara testing out her photography skills!

Yay a family pic.. Thanks goodness for hay barrels and self timers!!

Mara and Justin did the water duck races. Looks like Mara won!!

Then we of course finished the day off with the pumpkin sling shot. Look at Maras face.. That was a lot of hard work!!

What fun we had with our two little pumpkins!!
