Terrible 2's?? I thought we just turned 1...

After the haircut we went to the mall to get Gracelyn some warm clothes for the fall. Everyone was happy as we browsed the crowded mall. Gracelyn was rolling along in her stroller with her cup of water and a pretzel that Mara and her were sharing. Some time had passed and we were all done and ready to go. When I got Gracelyn up she was all wet from the cup of water leaking so I stripped her down. When I went to go put her in her car seat she threw the biggest tantrum ever. It took about 3 minutes to get her buckled in and after that it was nothing but screaming. At first I thought something was wrong but then I quickly realized that Nope she was having a tantrum. If she wasn't buckled in I am sure that she would of been on her belly with the feet and arms kicking.





Justin and I just let her cry it out and it adventually stopped. Then it was like nothing had happened at all and we were all smiles again.





Mara just sat there like a little princess even though we know she has it in her too!! hee hee



Well I guess this leads me to believe that we have crested the part where Gracelyn is converting over from baby to toddler!! Lord help me!!!

Gracelyns first Lollipop!

On Saturday Mara was getting her haircut at Zoie and friends. Gracelyn was joinng us. After anout 15 minutes of playing with the toys she was bored. The nice lady at the shop said she could have a lollipop. I said Ok and we tried it!







Gracelyn just loved it. It was oozing down her face as she made num num sounds from the cream soda sugar pop. We were cracking up at her facial expressions and her sounds.


What a treat!!

Play Time with Mia

Wednesday we went over for a playdate with Mia. The girls were hilarious!! They were walking all around and chatting. I think they understood each other! They would talk and then take off walking together. At one point they wanted to go upstairs, they wanted to play the guitar, ride the Zebra and the most fun was sitting in the car seats.

Toddler Gym

Gracelyn started toddler gym and boy oh boy is it a hit!!
At first she was a little unsure of what to do with all these toys but.. it only took a few minutes and she was in the action. Her most favorite toy is the boat. All she does is sit there but she thinks it is so great. Recently she discovered the climber slide is fun too!! I watched her climb up it by herself and slide down. It makes me a little sad that she has gotten so independent and is turning into a big girls just like her sis!!






Of course the big swing is always super fun too!! WEEEEEEE!!!!!

Mara's First Pay Check

Mara received her first paycheck the other day. It was for modeling at the expos. It wasn't much but it was like a million bucks to her. I told her that because it was her first one she could spend it on whatever she wanted. After that everything else goes into her GET college account. I have a feeling it will be spent on something very fun!! Barbies.. Pollies..HSM...

Love my sis's shoes!!

Gracelyn is fascinated with her sisters pink crocs. Although she has her own pair she feels that Mara's are so much more fun. The other day she was getting so frusterated trying to get them on.

The girls love it when Daddy gets home. This time he was trying to just relax but the girls weren't having it!! Gracie thought the most comfy spot was on her daddys face!! Go Figure!!

Lately Gracelyn has decided that daddy is her most favorite person. It is really sweet! I will open her door in the morning and she will day "dada"??? and I will say "mamma" and she will shake her head no at me.






The other morning she was just content cuddling with daddy in bed. Aren't they so cute!! Gee I wonder who Gracie looks like??

Do the Puyallup

On Monday we went out to the fair for military appreciation day. It was great fun. Auntie Tina, Mammie, Mary and Toby all got to come with us. We rode the rides, ate corn on the cob, got a caricature done and built a bear at the bear mill.


Lulu's daddy Tom is the fastest caricature artist around town. The girls have one done every year and we cherish them so much. This year since daddy went to air drop school we decided to have them air dropping with parachutes. Whoo Hoo












Glad the fair only comes around twice a year because man oh man it is exhausting.
