Meisberger Monkeys Waterpark

After the baby shower was over the girls and I decided to break out the pools and get cooled off. They were giggling and having so much fun!. I just love seeing them play and love each other. Gracelyn just idolizes her big sis and it is moments like this afternoon where I wish I could freeze time. As much as I love every stage in their little lives today just seemed nearly perfect. There is nothing I would rather be doing then watching them run around together. I am 100% so thankful to have these little monkeys. I know I get frusterated at times and want to pull my hair out but moments like today make all that go away.

Thank you my beautiful girls for being so fun, free and fabulous!!

Cara's Baby Shower

There was a lot of ooh's and ahh's throughout the afternoon as well as a lot of sweaty people. It was a hot one!!

The show opened with Jason Aldean and finished with Timmy and the Dance hall Doctors. This time I got to see the show with Sarah, Jolee, Jocelyn and Linda. It was a blast and we had the best seats!!

Thanks for a great time girls!!

Dog Watching

This weekend the girls and I went out to Fox Island to play with the Chopps new pups while they are in Hawaii. Their names are Bowie and Jett and boy are they loveable and lickable. The girls were just cracking up at how busy they are and how much they like to lick and kiss.

It was fun walking around their beautiful property and letting the doggies get some fresh air and some serious lovin. I sometimes feel guilt that we don't have a dog for these girls but we make up for it by watching our friends instead!! If you ever need us we are a great combo. Pure comedy but intentions are nothing but love and care!! Thanks Chopp Family for letting us play with the pooches.. We Love Them!!

Mallory's B-Day party

Saturday was Mallorys 2nd Birthday party but her actual birthday is on the 23rd like me!!

The kids, played on the big toy, bounced in the house and ate yummy cake! It was so much fun!!

Happy Birthday Mallory!!

Happy Birthday Ya Ya

For 7 years now my closest group of girlfriends and I have been having a once a month dinner that we call ya ya's. I know it is cheesy but it was about the time the ya ya sisterhood movie came out so we stole it. There have been very few months that we have missed but the more time that goes on the busier our lives get and the harder it is to get together. This time it had been since March so there was lots to celebrate. This time it was Sarah's Birthday (April), Heathers B-day (June 17) and mine which will be Monday the 23rd. We always exchange ornaments at Christmas and presents on Birthdays. It is our little way of saying thank you for being such great friends. I can rely on these girls for anything anytime. I am so lucky to have them in my life and don't know what I would do without them. Thanks for the great celebration and I look forward to next month!

New Hats!

Today the girls and I went down to the Farmers Market. There we ate food, blew bubbles, danced to music, smelled flowers and found these groovy new hats. The lady that makes them has been in business for years and I have been buying from her at other events. This time it was really fun because we were able to buy matching ones for the girls. They were pretty darn cute walking around with their little french looking hats on. Bonjour!!

The Culprits

Well it is official we have found out that Gracelyn is allergic to milk, eggs and bananas so far.. Our doc tested her last week for a panel of 20 items and these 3 popped up. Monday we are headed to the allergist to see if there is anything else. I figured that since we were giving up our most favorite item(milk) that we must give up the container we were receiving it in. The first few days were terrible but I think we are finally over the hump. Gracelyns back to normal and no more projectile vomitting, skin rashes or a tummy aches. Last month she tested negative for milk so I continued to give it to her. The one thing that helped her consume calories was the culprit that was making her so sick. Now we know for sure and I am ready to be a label reader!

Bye Bye bottles!!

Can't get enough Daddy!

Last night I heard snoring coming from the other room and this is what I found.

Daddy just got home last Thursday from a long deployment and Gracie really missed him. It seems that no matter what he is doing she is right by his side.
This morning Daddy grabbed his bag, coffee and sports drink and guess who grabbed hers. I think she put it like this... "Gracie go work Dadda".
I know Justin feels the guilt every time he passes thru that door.

Celebrating all the Daddys in our life!

Today we woke up, went to church and then headed to Justins folks house for a yummy brunch. Dave, Jen, Jack and new baby Katie came down to play with us for the day. The girls love their time with cousin Jack and they usually come up with some crazy things to do. Today they were in the bounce house, launching rockets and riding in the Barbie Jeep. It scared me a little when I saw Mara and Gracelyn driving around with their pony tails blowing in the wind. I guess I came to the realization that someday this will really be happening. I snapped out of it and decided to not think about that and to just treasure these precious moments that are still happening today. For example the dog pile the two of them had on Daddy.

Today was a wonderful day with great food, drinks, family and fun. I know Justin feels blessed to have us but the truth of the matter is we are the blessed ones. Thank you Daddy, Papa and Uncle Dave for being such great Dad's. You are an inspiration to all!
