Happy Birthday Mikey

Sunday the girls and I kidnapped Mikey and decided to have some fun. The first stop was our house for some Rock Band. These 2 were hysterical and so serious about their band. At first they were pretty quiet but within 20 minutes Mikey was on the mic and Mara was rockin the guitar and drums.

Then in the early afternoon we headed up to Southcenter to eat at the Rainforest Cafe and catch Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs at the Imax 3D theater. It was way cool but I think I still have indents on my nose from the stupid glasses! Oh and really cute movie!
The kids had a blast and what a better way to celebrate being 10!

Happy 78th Birthday Papa No Toes

Sunday evening we celebrated Papa no toes 78th birthday at the nursing home. The whole family was able to pull together a BBQ outside at the picnic shed. Although Papa is not feeling very well I think he enjoyed his time with all of us. We made some of his favorite foods and Aunt Lisa even managed to duplicate one of his famous sponge cakes. It's not a party in our family without a sponge cake!









Thanks Pops for letting us celebrate another year with you. I know this year has been rough but hopefully the next will be better. My wish for you is that we get many more wonderful years together. You are my one constant and I love you with my whole entire heart!..love marrky

Ya ya

Friday night was Ya ya dinner. I swear the older we get the harder it is to get all of us together. It had been since June since we last saw each other so there was a lot to celebrate. Kelly graduated from school, Heather is expecting, lulu is celebrating 1 year of marriage, Tessa is an auntie again and Matthew got a new job, Tami got a new job, Sarah sold her house and I got a new job as well.. Whew that's a lot of celebrating. Dinner was at Primo Grill which was delicious! Thanks ladies for a super fun evening!

Happy 20th Birthday Juju!

My brother turned 20 on Sept 12th so we had a little birthday celebration for him. All of his favorite girls were there to help him eat ribs, blow out candles and share delicious cake! We hope you had the best birthday ever juju and we love you!

Swimming Lessons

Gracelyn started her swimming lessons last week. Yay no mommies in the pool! Gracelyn just loved it and she did everything the teacher asked her to do with no problems. Gracelyn made bobs, bubbles and back floats look so easy. Great job little miss!!

Keith Urban

My good friend Brad hooked me up with 18th row on the floor to Keith Urban. As the concert went on we slowly made our way up to the front. It was an awesome show with Little Big town opening the event.

During the day I was working the Bridal expo next to the Tacoma Dome. I got to go back and see Keith's motorcycles and trailors. Can you say SWEET!!! The Harleys were amazing!

Kids Night Out

Two fridays ago we decided to have kids night out at the Marstons. I think there were 9 kids total and the kids had a blast! We Barbequed, frosted cupcakes, played games, danced and had a campfire. All of us mommies were exhausted but it was so much fun! These are the moments that the kids will remember forever!

Big Girl Reading

My little big girl loves to sit on her bean bag chair and read her books. It is so precious to hear the little stories that she makes up!

Come home Heartley..PLEASE

Our Kitty Heartley has not been home in 2 days and we are all just distrught. Nothing is more sad then seeing your 8 year old daughter out on the back patio crying her eyes out, screaming for her cat to come home. I know it is a long shot but please send your prayers up for Heartley that she will have a safe return! Our family is incomplete without her!

Thank you and come home Heartley.. Mamma misses you!!

Weekend of Celebrating

Mara turned 8 on Saturday so we had a busy weekend full of lots of activity.
Saturday morning woke up to presents and decorations throughout the house. I decorated her door,the counter and the living room.




During the day Daddy took Mara to go Roller Skating at Wheelz.. They had a blast!




Then we all went to the Ringling Brothers Circus.




Then on Sunday we had the family party.. Gracelyn had to get her party skirt on for the day. Boy is she cute!





Auntie Mariann came over for the party too. It was so fun to have her here! Mariann is my real dads sister that I just met this spring. Technically my aunt but more like a sister and an auntie to the girls!

Then finally Sunday evening I got to go meet up Renee. It was wonderful!

Happy Birthday to my beautiful, sweet loving daughter. 8 years ago you were welcomed into this crazy world and changed my life forever. I felt so honored to be your mommy. Thank you for teaching me to love unconditionally, to be a good mommy and to always be playful. Your smile lights up a room and those big brown eyes melt my heart. You are a wonderful daughter full of spunk and a loving sister even when Gracelyn is driving you nuts. Thank you for being you and for giving me the privilege of being your mommy.
