This evening we decided to gather the kids up and go down to the beach for some rock throwing, crab finding and I guess ... fishing??

The weather was so beautiful and we love to go to titlow to see the trains and all the sealife. Mara caught a fish! )well at least she thinks she did) I think the poor fishy had seen better days and it was just a floater. She was proud.

Mara also threw rocks and built a sand castle.

Gracelyn was just peachy in the backpack. I am pretty sure she would not have liked the taste of sand.

After Titlow we went and got Ice cream. YUMMY!!!

This afternoon we decided to let Gracelyn get out and crawl around on the grass. I thought she wouldn't like the feel but... I was wrong! Off she went and it went on and on!

Daddy chsed her for a bit and then she decided to play soccer with the ball and yes.. the kitty! Those two are so crazy!!

Let me Out

Well since Gracelyn is crawling everywhere all the time she has recently discovered the back door and she realizes there is some turf she has yet to cover. Heartley and her tried their hardest to get out but neither of them were successful.




After Gracelyn gave up on the door she decided to explore other parts of the house. Much to her surprise she found something that really interested her. A box of cereal her sister left down! Lucky you Gracelyn. I know I should have stopped her but she was on a mission and it was just to cute. Turns out it worked out pretty well for Gracelyn. Yum Yum

Date night for Mommy and Daddy!

Saturday night Justin and I got to go to the Brad Paisley concert while the munchkins stayed with Mammie. It was so much fun. Our tickets were in the lawn so we were able to dance around and sing our hearts out. At the concert we also got to see Taylor Swift, Kelly Pickler from American Idol and Jack Ingram. During the concert when Brad Paisley was singing his famous Whiskey Lullaby song Allison Krause made a guest appearence to sing it with him. It was so AWEsOME!! At the end of the night the show was over but Brad invited everyone to stay and shoot a video. Then guess who came out?? Jason ALexander from Seinfeld. It was wild but we had such a wonderful time.

Play date at Meisbergers..

Today was the day all our special friends were coming over to play. The Oswalds (Melissa,Nathan and Madisyn), Baby Zachary and Heather, Jenny and Lisa, Samual and Olivia. It was the first time in I can't remember how long all of us mommys were able to get together and visit. We had a nice lunch and pretty much let the kids romper room. It was great and boy do I miss my girlfriends!! `

The kids had a great time and Nathan and Samual are now very familiar with the color pink and the word "Polly Pocket".

I was thrilled to have everyone over and guess what?? we are going to make it a regular thing!! Can't wait!!!

Off to the Oswalds

Friday we were invited to go over to The Oswalds house to play with Nathan and Madi. Really mommy just misses her friend Melissa and they wanted to hang out and gab!

As the kids get older they have so much fun playing together. Nathan follows Mara around and wants her to chase him! Madisyn was curious about the baby but didn't get to close other then to give her big smooches. It was so sweet!!


Fianlly we were able to get a cute pic of all the kiddles together!




Well until they all fell over! Can't say we didn't try!!

Field Trip to Titlow

Today was Maras class field trip to Titlow Beach. The children got the chance to explore the sealife and even hold a few crabs. Mara and her friends thought it was just great! The one in the picture was "sebastien". Mara wanted to bring him home but fortunately he wiggled in her hand and we were over it! Whew....

Clean Up.. Clean Up

Well after all the hard work and yummy food we had to clean the girls up for jammie time. They got a bath and Gracelyn was cracking up at her sister. Mara had put the rubber duckie in her mouth and Gracelyn thought it was the greatest thing ever. Pretty much everything Mara does she thinks is great. Boy am I going to have my hands full when they are teenagers!! Aghh!!!

Working at the Car Wash.. Yeah

With all the sun in the sky Mara and I decided to wash the cars. It was really fun but she gets a little wild with the hose.

I think I had more water on me then the car did. Oh well!!













Daddy was in back cooking up a yummy dinner for us. It was so nice we decided to sit outside, listen to the frogs and crickets and enjoy our BBQ chicken and corn casserole. I think we were having a moment of weakness and we were really missing Texas. This is what we did nightly down there with all our wonderul friends we met!
