Let it Snow

The girls were so excited today when they realized it had snowed and was still snowing. Gracelyn in her mumbled speech kept standing at the back door yellin "NOOOO" which in her world was "SNOW". I bundled them up and let the adventures begin.





We tried Snow Angels which Mara was great at! Gracie didn't think they were that fun!



Kelly these pics of the trees are for you. I was testing out my photography skills and I thought they looked so serene and calm.





Heartley was very unsure about the snow. It was a love hate thing with her.











Gracie just figured why not give it a try. I think the word out of her mouth were "mmm yum yums". If she only knew!!










Mara and I built a snowman. Small but cute!













Gracie decided it was time to really play. It is apparent that she was more then determined to get up there. Then low and behold she did it!



It made for a wet bottom but she didn't care.


Then it was off to the front for some good old fashion sledding. The girls enjoyed it and then Mara wanted to give it a whirl. Gracie got a little more then she bargained for. Check out the speed Mara got going with the sled. Gracie was screaming "WHEE". What an exhausting few hours we had. Gracie slept for 3 hours. Yipee!!

Playing at the Park

Although it was cold this week it was simply beautiful and the girls and I decided to take full advantage of it! We stopped off at Jefferson to swing, climb and just run around.






Mia and her mommy met us there to play for a bit. The girls were fascinated with the modern day version of the "merry go round". I think ours were a whole lot better back in the day!! Oh well they thought it was great.

Air Force Brat

Justin keeps his hat in the lower pocket of his flight suit as most pilot do. This is within perfect reach for Gracelyn to take it. It has become a daily occurence as well as a big joke. The other day Justin got all the way to his car and realized it was missing. Luckily we found it before he actually drove off!! I couldn't resist these pictures of Gracie with it on her head.







It was even better with the bunny hat underneath!

Date with a cutie

Last Friday I got to have a date with this cutie!! I just couldn't resist posting this cute face!!





Justin and I had dinner and drinks at Masa. It was delicious!!

Bridal Expo

This weekend was the big bridal expo. Mara did her modeling and Kelly and Heather worked in the booth with us. It was really fun!! It was interesting people watching!!







Mara was in the fashion show as well which she just loves. This is her favorite model Mayumi. Mayumi has been doing the show for years now and is just stunning. Can you believe she is 40??? I hope I look that good at 40.



Mara worked the runway and got all of the crowds attention during her little dance number. I think I am going to have my hands full!!

The Wii

Saturday Justin had his dad and brother over for some fun food, football and of course the wii. Ted had to give it a whirl!!


Bowling was fun with Mara but...









baseball was even better. I could have swore that these two thought they were really playing in a game!






I am pretty sure they had wii shoulder the next day!

Gracelyn now understands what brushing her teeth means. Every time Mara goes to do it Gracelyn has to participate as well.






When the festivities are over she gets pretty upset!!

We have been busy busy this week and I will surely post pics after this weekend is over. I am working the Bridal Expo and Mara is in the fashion show for it. Enjoy your weekend and I will blog soon.. Promise!!

Yummy yogurt

On Saturday when I got home from work GRacelyn was not only wearing her sisters Seahawks jersey from when she was a baby but she was enjoying some yummy yogurt. Lately we have been letting Gracelyn use her own spoon and fork to try and feed herself. After this mess I was all for going back to me feeding her. I guess we all have to learn somehow right???








When it was all gone she was really upset but hey look on the bright side at least most of it made it in her mouth! Even though it doesn't appear that way!! :)
