Disney on Ice

Sunday my mom and I took some one on one time with Mara to go to Seattle for Disneys Princess Wishes on Ice. It was really fun!! The skating was amazing as well as the lights and music!!

Tessas Baby Shower

Saturday was also Tessas shower and we celebrated Robb style. The food was amazing, the dessert was even better and the gifts were so much fun!!

Only a few weeks left to go. I think she is now ready to welcome baby girl Brandsey into the world!!

End of the Soccer Season

Saturday was the last game of the season for Maras soccer team. Up to this point mother nature has been so kind and all our games have been cool but clear. This week she decided to pour down on us. The kids were drenched!! Although Mara kept playing she wanted to go home. Normally she likes to play in the rain but this was an absolute down pour.









Gracelyn did not mind at all because she was bubble baby in her jogger!!





Thank goodness it is time for Basketball now! Indoors... warm and dry :)

Nov Ya Ya

This month for our ya ya dinner we celebrated Kellys 31st Birthday. We had dinner, drinks, presents and cake. The cake actually fell so it wasn't looking so hot for the pics!! :( Sorry.

I am so lucky to have such wonderful friends!!

Nutcracker Performances 2007

It's that time of year again for the Nutcracker!!
Mara will be a Bon Bon (polchinelle) for the second year in a row. In case you and your family were interested in going I am including the performances she will be in.

Singing in the Rain

After a long busy day in the house I decided it was time for the girls to go out front and splash in the puddles. The neighborhood ducks have made their way back for the year and we thought we would join them for some worm catching, rain singing, puddle splashing fun!

I geared them up with rain coats and boots and off they went. Gracelyn wasn't sure at first but once she saw her sis splashing she caught on really quickly. At one point they were splashing so big their faces were wet and Gracelyn went down for the count. I looked over and she was sitting and splashing in about 4 inches of water. Crazy kids.

It got the last bit of energy out for the day and they thought it was great. See sometimes rainy days are not all that bad!

Beauty Shop

After making music tonight we had beauty shop. Mara was giving us all make overs.



Then Gracelyn gave Mara pretty pretties!!


Then there was lucky me... I got a makeover too! Mara said I looked like I needed one!!

Making Music

Tonight Mara got out her instruments to have a band with her sister. Gracelyn discovered the harmonica and the wood flute. Mara got the wood flute from Lulu when she went to Thailand. It has been very fun for her and now she is sharing it with her sis.






I do think she has got it made in the harmonica department. For being one she is pretty good!!





Every time she got it to make a noise she would crack up laughing. It was so funny I actually recorded her on video. Some moments are just to precious to pass up!

A visit with McKenzie

On Wednesday the girls and I packed up the car and went up north to Duvall to visit McKenzie. Man is an hour and a half a long time in a car with two kids. Thanks goodness for flip down dvd players!!

The visit was just great. The girls got to play around in McKenzies beautiful house and they really loved her kitty Stella. Gracelyn was fascinated with her as well as the stairs. We don't have any in our house so she found them to be very fun!!

Naked bead dance

Gracelyn got some pretty bead necklaces from Halloween and ever since she has worn them constantly. In fact the other day we were playing in the tent and she decided to be naked except for the beads and her socks. Don't ya wish we could all be that free!! :)

Lovin Toby

Toby was over the other night and Gracelyn decided that she wanted to share some cheesy puffs with him.

Gracelyn would fee him and then wipe his face.



Then Toby would feed Gracelyn. It was so sweet and it went on for a good half hour.
