Music in the park

This week was the start of music in the park. Every Tuesday for the past 3 years during the summer the girls and I head out to the harbor for this fun family event. The kids run around, dance, eat and play while the music plays in the background. This week Gracelyn and Mallory just cold not get enough of each other. They were hugging, kissing, running, dancing and being complete stinkers.

If you would ever like to join us we will be there. I always sit to the left of the stage on the water side. Tuesdays from 6:30-8:00pm. See ya there..

Here is a schedule of the performers. Click on it to large.

Music in the Park

Every Tuesday during the summer for the past 3 years we have been going to music in the park. It takes place in downtown Gig harbor on the waterfront between 6:30 and 8:00pm. Every week there are different bands that play. The kids just love to run around and dance so freely. This was the first year Gracelyn has been mobile so it made for an interesting evening. I don't think that in the hour and a half of time she stopped moving for even a second. Gracie danced the night away to all the Neil Diamond a little 2 year old could ask for. If the song was slow she was still shakin it. I can hardly wait for next week!! It's Elvis!!

Making Music

Tonight Mara got out her instruments to have a band with her sister. Gracelyn discovered the harmonica and the wood flute. Mara got the wood flute from Lulu when she went to Thailand. It has been very fun for her and now she is sharing it with her sis.

I do think she has got it made in the harmonica department. For being one she is pretty good!!

Every time she got it to make a noise she would crack up laughing. It was so funny I actually recorded her on video. Some moments are just to precious to pass up!
