Rain Dance

On Wednesday we were at my moms and I had just changed Gracelyn diaper and I was getting her cleaned up. All of the sudden it was a complete down pour outside. Gracelyn was fascinated and was screaming to go out. So.. we let her go! at first she was a little unsure but soon enough she was doing the rain dance. Mara thought it was hilarious!!





Then it got to cold and we had to bring her in! What fun!!!

Gracelyn has decided this week that the best thing in the world to do is unroll the toilet paper roll. If you can't find her go to the bathroom and that is where she will be. At my house I have learned to close the door but mammie wasn't as quick to learn this. I think she has gone thru 4 rolls this week!

Go Tigers

Monday night we got the girls all bundled up to go see uncle Juju's football game. Normally Gracelyn will not wear a hat but because her sister was she thought it was great. I was thrilled too because I just got the cutest darn pumpkin hat for her and I want her to wear it!! Daddy and the girls looked pretty darn cute!

SO BIG

The other morning while Mara was at school Gracelyn snuck in to her room and got her Tinkerbell lantern out. Mara loves this toy and doesn't really let Gracelyn play with it. Gracelyn was taking advantage of her sister being gone and hung on to it the entire time. Gracelyns curiosity got the best of her and she had to figure out how all the buttons worked.





After that I got her all cleaned up and turned on little einteins. Gracelyn grabbed her blankie and hopped up on the couch to watch it. I guess it was just cute to be able to see her do this without any help.

Highschool Musical the Play

Saturday night Tami, Elizabeth, Mara and I all went up to Seattle to see Highschool Musical. The childrens theater was performing it and Mara was so excited to see it.

I think it was great for Mara to experience different actors performing the parts. At first when she looked thru the program she didn't understand why they looked different from the movie. After it was all said and done she understood better and realized that many people can play many different parts.

It was fantastic and Mara could hardly sit still!



After the performance the kids were able to go get autographs from the actors. This little piece of paper will be cherished for a very long time!

Splish Splash we are taking a bath!

After ballet we came home and the girls had bath time. Gracelyn LOVES her bath. All I have to do is say Gracie want to take a bath?? and she is off and in the bathroom waiting by the tub. This night Mara joined her. I think that they think they are fishies when they are in the water. Gracelyn gets so excited she can hardly stand it!!

Watch Day for Ballet

Thursday was watch day at Ballet. I just love these days because they don't come around that often. It gives me a better idea of what Mara is learning each week during class. I tried to take a few pics without distracting the class. Mara loves ballet and has been chosen again to be in the Nutcracker. This year we are once again a bon bon. Mara can hardly wait!!
