Showering Baby Boyd

Last week I got to help Sarah's family throw a "sprinkle" of a shower for little baby Ava that is due to arrive in a few weeks. We ate great food, yummy treats, played a really fun game and then opened gifts. It was so much fun and we can hardly wait for the little bundle to arrive! Congrats Sarah, Art and Emma.

The snow came ..

It was freezing, it was fun and we made lots of snowballs and did a ton of sledding. Unfortunately right after the snow fell, so did my girls.

Mara ended up with a sky high temperature which shortly led to pneumonia.

Then little Gracelyn headed to the ER with 105.2 temperature. No pneumonia but a lovely cough and snot nosed virus to follow.
Fortunately everyone is feeling much better this week. We are back to school, feeling healthy and looking forward to warm spring sunshine.

Goal

My goal for this weekend is to catch up on my blog. I know it has been forever but between sick kids, selling of houses, working, girls scouts, basketball and doctor appointments I barely have time to sleep. I have lots of fun pictures to post and this is my weekend to do it. Stay Tuned.......

Miracles

These were the words on the wall of my massage room the other day. Sometimes little things like this just stop you in your tracks.

Bathing Beauty

This little monkey decided she did not want to go to school today. I was told that she would rather stay in the tub all day playing with her toys and pretending to be Ariel. Oh to be four again!

Walk and Rock for Walker

Last Friday our school had a fundraiser for one of our beloved teachers whose husband is very ill with cancer. All of our First Presbyterian families gathered to walk, support, donate and celebrate Bill Walker and his family. Mara's Girl Scout Troop walked and contributed to the event which ended up raising a total of $3200. Wow!!!!

After the walk we went to the school gym to celebrate with the tunes of Aaron Spiro in the background. Aaron is a First Pres father who is a christian musician. Aaron shared songs of encouragement, love and hopefulness with us all. I had never heard his music but Mara and I liked it so much we bought a CD. Look him up on the internet. I guarantee you will like him too!
