Dog Walkers

Last Sunday the girls and I took "Trixie" my mothers furry friend for a walk. The girls think that this is their dog and quite frankly it is the closest they will come to getting a dog so I let them enjoy it every now and then. Trixie is sweet, well behaved and super cute. The girls love on her and she loves on them. Other then being a beggar I really have no complaints. Hoping for sunny days so we can have more walks in the near future!

Jr. Daffodil Parade

The rain let up for a few hours Saturday morning so we could participate in the Junior Daffodil Parade.  The kiddos had so much fun passing out their flowers and watching all the floats, dogs, clowns, princesses and kids having so much fun.

Gracelyn was there with her two besties Haley and Karys. Thanks guys for a fun sleepover and parade!

Bunco

Last night I got to go play Bunco with some girlfriends. Renee invited me and boy was it fun! I have many memories as a child of my mothers Bunco games. Every third Thursday of the month the ladies played and in the month of October she hosted the one at our house. We always giggled about those old ladies in the family room rolling dice. Well apparently my time has come! We are old and there was dice involved!

I didn't win but it was super fun!

Just when you question whether or not your 9 year old daughter loves you or not (all because I won't let her go to the Katy Perry concert this summer.. bad mom right?? NOT)

She leaves me a little note like this that let's me know that she does. Either that or she is sucking up to work me over on letting her go. I am just going to think of it as a token of her love!

Showering Baby Boyd

Last week I got to help Sarah's family throw a "sprinkle" of a shower for little baby Ava that is due to arrive in a few weeks. We ate great food, yummy treats, played a really fun game and then opened gifts. It was so much fun and we can hardly wait for the little bundle to arrive! Congrats Sarah, Art and Emma.

The snow came ..

It was freezing, it was fun and we made lots of snowballs and did a ton of sledding. Unfortunately right after the snow fell, so did my girls.

Mara ended up with a sky high temperature which shortly led to pneumonia. 

Then little Gracelyn headed to the ER with 105.2 temperature. No pneumonia but a lovely cough and snot nosed virus to follow.

Fortunately everyone is feeling much better this week. We are back to school, feeling healthy and looking forward to warm spring sunshine.

Goal

My goal for this weekend is to catch up on my blog. I know it has been forever but between sick kids, selling of houses, working, girls scouts, basketball and doctor appointments I barely have time to sleep. I have lots of fun pictures to post and this is my weekend to do it. Stay Tuned.......
