Daddys Home!!

When we got home from Atlantic City we were pleasantly surprised to find Daddy Home!! YIPEE!!! Yee HAW!!!

The girls couldn't get enough of him. They were crawling all over him and tickling him. Gracelyn thought his patches were fascinating on his flight suit and kept trying to take them off. Gracie also is getting really good at giving kisses and she was trying to plant a big one on daddy. MMWWAAAA!!!

What a luck girl I am :)

Bye Bye Boardwalk

On Monday it was time for us to pack up and head home. The girls were ready to get home to their own beds but we were sad to leave such a beautiful place.
On the way out of town we stopped at a little park to play for a bit. Gracelyn went swinging for a bit, Mara went sliding and then we all rode the merry go round toy. I hadn't seen one of these in years so it was really fun to be able to tell Mara that this was a toy I played on when I was little!

After that we packed up and headed to the airport.
Bye Bye Atlantic City

The Boardwalk

Sunday morning we joined everyone for a brunch and gifts. Gracelyn really enjoyed her bagels and cream cheese!

Sharon and Kiel got really cute t-shirts made. Sharons said Mrs. Gilliland and Kiels said Mr. On the front they said Bride and Groom. How cute!!

After that we headed in to Atlantic city to take in the boardwalk and all the sights. It was really fun and beat to see all the street names like you do in the game Monopoly. The girls strolled along and we ate dinner at the Rainforest Cafe in Trump Plaza. What fun!!

Mr and Mrs. Gilliland

The wedding was beautiful! Everything went perfect and we were presented with Mr. and Mrs. Kiel Gilliland. The boys were handsome and the girls were stunning. Mara did her job perfectly and was the star of the show!!

Dum Dum Dum Dum

Saturday was wedding day. Mara looked beautiful as well as everyone else. In the morning we took pictures at Sharons Uncle Frits beach house. It was gorgeous with the sun and water in the background.

After pics the stretch limo came to pick the girls up. Mara could hardly contain herself and thought she was a celebrity!!

Freaky Friday!!

The night before the wedding we realized we forgot curlers for Maras hair so.. we decided to rag tie her hair to get curls. We used some water, a little hairspray and some chinet napkins. It worked awesome. Mara looked a little goofy but thought it was so funny! Gracelyn just though chewing on the lid to the hairspray was much more interesting. Although she did try to help with the napkins! Gracie is a great shredder :) The next day when we took them out her hair had the best curls ever. Who needs modernization when you can use napkins!! hee hee

Rehearsal

Friday night was the rehearsal. We drove into the church which was right across from Trump Plaza. The church was St Michaels Catholic church. It was very ornate and beautiful. Everyone learned where they were supposed to be and then we were off to the dinner. Sharon and Kiel had so many out of town guests that they just decided to have a big party for everyone out in their coutyard. It was catered and they passed out gifts to all of their bridal party. Mara was thrilled to receive hers!! Being their flower firl was a very big honor for Mara. We were there for their meeting, their courting, their engagement and now their wedding. What great friends!!
