Flippin Flap Jacks

Sunday morning Mara woke up and wanted Big Pancakes. We got out all the ingredients and she made the best pancakes ever. On the top of the pancakes Mara decided to write the first letter of her and Gracelyns name with syrup.


They turned out so well she was cracking up.

Congrats Art & Sarah

Saturday night we had a couples shower for Sarah and Art. They are getting married Nov 26th in Hawaii. All our friends thought it would be fun if we celebrated together rather then just a girls party. It was a great idea. We had a delicious dinner, fun games and yummy dessert.









Later that night we broke out the Wii. Here are Heather and Christian trying to box each other. Look at their facial expressions. They are serious!!

An Apple A Day Keeps the Dr. Away!

On Friday night we were leaving my moms and Gracelyn discovered an apple on the counter. Every time I tried to take it away she would scream so we let her have it a few minutes. Amazingly enough she did pretty well. These are the cute pictures of her eating it right before we took it away and she began to scream.

Falling into " FALL"

Daddy got home late Tuesday night so on Wednesday he played hookie for a little while and spent some time with us at the park. There was some rain at times but it made it fun for the girls. The leaves on the ground and the trees were simply beautiful. This little afternoon park adventure reconfirmed that Autumn is surely my most favorite time of the year.

The girls were having so much fun kicking the leaves and throwing them around.

Gracelyn was just fascinated with the ducks. If she could have gone in the water to swim with them I think she would have!

Rain Dance

On Wednesday we were at my moms and I had just changed Gracelyn diaper and I was getting her cleaned up. All of the sudden it was a complete down pour outside. Gracelyn was fascinated and was screaming to go out. So.. we let her go! at first she was a little unsure but soon enough she was doing the rain dance. Mara thought it was hilarious!!





Then it got to cold and we had to bring her in! What fun!!!

Charmin girl

Gracelyn has decided this week that the best thing in the world to do is unroll the toilet paper roll. If you can't find her go to the bathroom and that is where she will be. At my house I have learned to close the door but mammie wasn't as quick to learn this. I think she has gone thru 4 rolls this week!

Go Tigers

Monday night we got the girls all bundled up to go see uncle Juju's football game. Normally Gracelyn will not wear a hat but because her sister was she thought it was great. I was thrilled too because I just got the cutest darn pumpkin hat for her and I want her to wear it!! Daddy and the girls looked pretty darn cute!





Juju is number 12 on the team




The Tigers lost but they had had some cute fans cheering them on!
