Valentine Fun

Gracelyn really liked wearing her Valentine dress. I kept catching her twirling around and rubbing her belly. Normally dresses are not her favorite clothing item but today was different! It looked so cute on her and I think she knew it!!!

My Little Artists

Mara just loves her easel that she received for Christmas. Gracie likes it too but lately she has prefered sitting inside of it to do her work. I am not sure why but I think it has something to do with the fact that she can climb it. This appears to really be her most favorite thing to do!!

Happy Valentines Day everyone.

The girls were full of love this morning as they woke up to their Valentines surprises. Gracelyn of course went right for the chocolate hearts and Mara ripped through her goody bag to see what she got.

Gracelyn kept wanting kisses from her sister. I thought today was the most appropiate day for it!

Study Geeks

Gracelyn is all about being in her sisters business. If Mara is at the computer then she has to be.





If Mara is doing her homework then Gracelyn has to do hers to.


It is a constant and although at times annoying for Mara it is just precious for me to watch!

Toothless

Week before last Mara had her first top tooth fall out. It had dangled there for about 2 weeks before finally Stella and her collided and it popped right out. The tooth fairy delivered 2 bucks.

On Monday night I had looked in her mouth and noticed that the left side was starting to wiggle just a bit.

So...

Yesterday after school we went to Melissas for a play date. Mara ran over and said mom my mouth is bleeding! So I looked and said "wheres your tooth"? Mara said "what do you mean where is my tooth"!!! Gracelyn had knocked into her and popped this one out. Luckily it was on the carpet and amazingly enough after a quick trip to the ATM the tooth fairy arrived again.

This was one afternoon I will never forget! Melissa and I were laughing so hard.

Watch Day

Today was watch day at ballet. This only comes along every 3 months so I get really excited when it does.

It was amazing to see how much Mara has grown in her classical studies. Many of the dance questions Ms. Danielle asked about Mara knew the answer.





It also appears that she has almost mastered the splits. OUCH!!!

A trip to the Conservatory

Thursday afternoon the kids and I along with the Tracey and Joey went over to the Wright Park Conservatory after school. Mara and Joey have made up their own name for it and they call it the "floratorium". I guess because it is full of fresh beautiful flowers. This day was especially great because the hyacinth is in full bloom. My does it smell great!!

Gracelyn loved all the flowers and found it hard to not want to pick the pretty flowers a part. The most fascinating part of it all was the fish. The water was clear and their colors were so bright. It seems there were many more compared to the last time we were there.

I highly reccomend going here. They change it out every few weeks and there is always something beautiful to see!
