Santa has arrived

7am I am woken up with 7 year old stinky breath in my face telling me that not only did she hear Santa leaving the gifts last night but she also heard Rudolph munching his carrots.. Really I say??

Come on Come on are her next words.. but wait.... no little voice from Ms Gracelyn! Could it be that the one day all kids get up early she decided to sleep in? Are you kidding!! We opened her door, opened the blinds, took pictures of her and we got nothing!! Finally I nudged her a bit and she sat straight up and said "Santas Here".. Let's open presents!!! The rest is history!!

The girls had a wonderful morning opening their gifts, playing with their toys and spending the entire day in there jammies making memories to last a lifetime! I love you little peanuts!

Twas the Night Before Christmas

Twas the night before christmas and all thru our house creatures were stirring possibly even a mouse. The girls were baking cookies and using frosting Hooray..while thoughts of St. Nicholas were definetly underway... Carrots were gotten and there were letters galore while yummy hot chocolate filled us some more. The girls got all snuggled with jammies and fleece while santa hurried quickly to make a good pace.

Ok Ok so It tried.. Here are some pics from Christmas Eve

And Finally a tree...

After all of the remodeling craziness we were finally able to put up our tree. The girls loved it and did all the decorating themselves. Gracelyn insisted that all the ornaments go on one branch. Don't worry.. I seperated them after she was in dreamland.

They can hardly wait for Christmas as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. There is also a big part of them that just simply can't wait for Santa too.. Ho Ho Ho

The Remodel

So if you are wondering why my bloging has been so sparce it has been because of my house. We were having foundation issues so we had to jack hammer the interior, the exterior, re paint and get new floors. It has been about a month and a half long process. I had concrete floors for a month and we have been living room to room as the construction unfolded. This week was the first glimpse of something liveable. The trim is all that is left to be done but as you can see from the pics it was quite the mess.

Snowy Planes

Justin was supposed to fly this week but as you can see form these pics there was not much taking off and landing. Don't the planes look so pretty and peaceful...

Nutcracker television times

If you can't make it to see Mara in the Nutcracker this year you can watch her performance on television.

It is on Channel 12 KCTS(the local channel) during the times listed below!!

Mara is a Polchinelle(Bon Bon). The performance is in the second act and it starts out with a lady(man) coming out in a very large dress. Soon the girls pop out from underneath the dress. When you are looking at the television Mara will be in the first group out on the left hand side.

Enjoy
