Beatniks 09

All I have to say after this years concert is WOW!!!! The girls and I headed to the harbor for our annual beatniks concert around 3pm. The park was already completely packed. I found a nice little spot for all of us and we waited. Many of our friends showed up and we all had such a fun time dancing the night away to beattles songs and just some good old rock n roll. Mara as always was front and center with the band. This girl is such a groupie! Thanks to all of my wonderful family and friends for such an awesome evening in the park!

Mara was elated when she found out Jaclyn was going to be there. Christian had his hands full with these two!!

Rodeo 2009

Every 2 years at McChord they host an air competition called Rodeo. Monday night we took the girls out to tent city to look at the setups and to boogie to the Afrodisiacs music. The girls had such a blast and danced until 10pm. Boy were they tired on the car ride home! Rodeo is so neat because you get to see all the other countries uniforms, planes etc.

Sunday we got invited to Karis and Haleys Birthday party. These girls just can't get enough of Mara! Mike and Kressent suprised the kids with pony rides midway thru the party. Gracelyn was squealing and wanted to stay on the ponies the entire time. A fun time was had by all.

Activities of the Week

Wow what a busy week we had last week! I took the kiddos to the circus





Then we came home and set up camp!



The days were filled with Vacation Bible School at First Pres. Son Rock Kids Camp!



Followed by Tuesday evening music in the park (Irish evening)



Then pool time



Then off to Seattle for Grossology, Science Center and Fountain with the big kids





Phew.. it was an exhausting week but so much fun!

Shelly Bachelorette

Last Saturday was Shellys Bachelorette party up in Seattle. The party started at the Edgewater and ended up in bell town. It was a fun filled night with a bunch of crazy ladies!

Autism Speaks

Last Saturday was the autism speaks walk at Cheney Stadium. This is a cause that we now support and will continue to support. The girls got to do activities before the walk and then we headed out as a family to do our 3 miles. Next year we will have out own team and I hope you will join!
