My oh My Mothers Day!

This years mothers day was a busy one but a great one too!

The day got started with the baptism of my youngest daughter Gracelyn. It was a celebration that welcomed her into the house of the Lord. I wouldn't say this was the most ideal age for this type of ceremony but we made it work. Although Justin and I are not together we are good and are able to still do important family things like this.

Little things were funny in preparing Gracelyn for this day. I was told that her pretty white dress was her "Bless" dress and that when we were shopping for shoes she informed me that they were Jesus Christ Sandals. Hmm?? Um.. I guess I am going with kids say the darnedest things!

Then after the Baptism it was spoil mom rotten day.

The girls gave my car a good wash and dry. Thank goodness for the sunny weather!

Then PJ gave me a day of relaxation at Gene Juarez. Yipee!!! So thoughtful and such a sweetie..
Then the girls have me their special mothers day gifts.  Pottery creations that were personalized and perfected! Their dad took them a while back and it was a complete surprise to me. Thank you Justin!!
A fun new stylish necklace that Mara picked out for me. It will look so cute with a fun shirt and jeans. Love my daughters taste. This girl can really fashion me up!

and of course the day would not be complete without the cards and artwork!

Mothers Day

My mothers day was made special by my two little munchkins. I was blessed with Mothers Teas, flowers and trips to the beach.

Gracelyns class made us books, painted pots with plants and sang us beautiful sweet songs.

Maras class baked us yummy goodies, planted flowers and recited bible versus for us.

The actual day of Mothers day was spent with the girls down at the beach and at the park. We threw rocks, tossed the frisbee and picked flowers. My girls spoiled me with their little tokens of love and what else could a mamma ask for?

Thank you Mara and Gracelyn for choosing me to be your mommy. I feel like the luckiest person in the world because of it. You have helped me grow in ways I never thought possible and have taught my heart to love more then I ever thought it could.
