Tea Party

The girls set up a tea party for me complete with snacks. It was oh so delicious and we had so much fun! Cheers...

Tea time

Last Saturday it was a beautiful sunny day so I decided to set up a tea party for the girls. It was a little windy out so our party was cut a little short but the girls had so much fun regardless. I put out the adult size tea cups and saucers in which they enjoyed the finest of apple juices. The juice was followed by delicious cupcakes from this great little cupcake store called Dulce. The girls invited a couple of their animal friends over for the event as well. Enjoy!!

Oh yeah and the girls dressed up as well. Notice Gracelyns nightgown and Maras wig.. Silly girls :)

Mothers tea for me!

Thursday was the annual mother tea at Mara's school. I look forward to this day every year she has attended school there. The kids make us cards, pot us plants, sing and prepare a meal for us.

This year Mrs. Thoburn had the kids make paper flowers and each petal represented a reason why they loved their mothers so much. Mara's answers brought tears to my eyes. Then I opened my card which said.. mom thanks for the birth you gave me! This of course brought laughter! Sometimes kids say the funniest things!






I feel so thankful that I get to celebrate days like these with my girls. I know they love me but I don't think they have a clue about how much I love them. Some days like today I can feel the love pouring out of my heart. I just want to scoop them up, squeeze them and not let them grow up anymore!
