The 5 steps to a 2 year old temper tantrum!

Step 1: Happy because we are riding the bike!

Step 2: Bike has stopped.. can't make it go.. better scream and cry!

Step 3: Very mad.. better get off bike so I can flop around angry!

Step 4: Kick around on ground screaming

Step 5: Exhaustion from the tantrum.. still very mad

Then we are off and happy again! Don't ya love the hair???

Muddy Boots!

There are days when I truly wonder if Gracelyn was meant to be a boy! The more dirt she has on her, the wetter she is or the more rocks she can throw the better. Today for example she went and put her boots on and headed right for the mud puddle in the front yard. There was mud flying everwhere and she thought it was the greatest thing in the world.

When Mara was little she would have never done this but Gracie could care less.

After she stomped around in that for a bit she went to go sit on the wooden railroad track that seperates our yard from the neighbors.

Well she sorta missed

and was stuck until mommy came to the rescue!

Thanks goodness for Buddies!

This session of Toddler Gym Gracies best friend Mia joined. The girls were so happy to see each other and play together. Gracie taught Mia the ropes very quickly and they didn't even throw a fit when it was time to go.

They walked out so nicely together....

Gave each other goodbye kisses..

and even goodbye Hugs!

How cute!

Cheesy Quesadilla

MOnday night was cousin Ashleys birthday dinner at Mazatlan. The girls got a quesadilla and Gracelyn took the opportunity to once again be just as cheesy as the cheese she was eating.

This is what she looked like after a full belly, too much time in a restaurant, way past bedtime and her hair pulled out! How do you think I felt????

Chalk Drawings

On sunday Mara was invited to Joeys house to play. Gracelyn and I came to pick her up and the kids were doing chalk drawings on the sidewalk. Gracie had never done this before and she was so excited to give it a whirl.

What do you think?? A little Picasso on my hands??

Cuddly kitty

Heartley decided to snug in with Mara the other night before bed. This is not her typical behavior so Mara was very excited and wanted me to capture the moment. Amazingly enough she slept the entire night all cuddled up with her under the covers!

Spring Snow

On Friday morning I had just gotten off the plane from 85 degree weather in Las Vegas and was greeted with this cold wet snow. Only in Washington do we bloom daffodils and have snow all in the same week.

The girls did not care at all. They took this one last opportunity (hopefully) to play in this white stuff.

Gracie will wait at the back door until I let her out to play. All morning she was yelling S-N-O-W!!!!!!

The girls were running back and forth trying to catch the snowflakes.

Then GRacie fell down and snow time was all done!

These two had chili little hands and feet. Time for some hot cocoa and a movie!!
