Elvis in the Park

This weeks music in the park featured Danny Vernon as Elvis. This guy is great and puts on a very entertaining show. Uh huh Uh huh!! This week we were lucky to have had many of our friends come and share in the excitement. Debbie came out with Declan and Elle and Jennifer came out with MacKenzie and Zachary. My mom came out with us and Jocelyn came out with her entire family. All of us packed a picnic and enjoyed the summer sounds on the water. It was a beautiful evening!!

Uncle Juju

The girls call my brother Jordan "Juju". Thursday evening Juju came over to play rockband and stay the night. Gracelyn woke up first thing, found Juju and climbed up with him for a snug!! They watched Cailou the rest of the morning all cuddled up. It was just precious!

Music in the Park

Every Tuesday during the summer for the past 3 years we have been going to music in the park. It takes place in downtown Gig harbor on the waterfront between 6:30 and 8:00pm. Every week there are different bands that play. The kids just love to run around and dance so freely. This was the first year Gracelyn has been mobile so it made for an interesting evening. I don't think that in the hour and a half of time she stopped moving for even a second. Gracie danced the night away to all the Neil Diamond a little 2 year old could ask for. If the song was slow she was still shakin it. I can hardly wait for next week!! It's Elvis!!

Mia and Gracelyn

Today we got to have Mia over for a playdate. It had been a while since these two have been together so they really played hard. They shared snacks, played in the playhouse, went swinging on the swings and played in the pools. They were just adorable and are such good buddies. Thanks Mia for being such a great friend to Gracelyn!! We Love you!!

Camp

Tuesay mroning I sent Mara off to summer camp. Fortunately it is just day camp so she returns at 4:30 everyday but.... It was still so hard to see her get on a bus and leave for the day without my supervision. There are many of her friends attending with her and so far she loves it. Who wouldn't?? I loved camp when I was younger and I feel so blessed to be able to give her those same opportunities I had.
According to Mara "Camp McCullough Rocks"!!
