Quick Update

Just a quick update on me and the job. I decided to resign but I am totally ok with it. It was really very hard to go from full time mommy to full time worker. Both of my girls were having a very difficult time with it and so I decided it was best if I resigned. Although dressing up everyday and being around adults was fun it just reconfirmed that I know what I am supposed to do and that is be a mommy! They are only little once and before I know it they will both be in full time school. Until them I am going to cherish my time and let life unfold the way it is supposed to!

Pilgrim

On Monday when I got to school I was not just picking up my daughter Gracelyn I was picking up "Pilgrim Gracelyn". Mrs Smith had made this precious little pilgrim hats for the girls and the boys got black top hats.

Once we were in the car I was asking Gracelyn how her day was and she said "I am Pilgrim Gracelyn and I came here on the Mayflower"

Amazing what these little ones can learn at such a young age! Happy Thanksgiving month! There are so many wonderful things in my life that I am thankful for!

Junie B. Jones

Sunday afternoon Mara and I got to have some great one on one time. Over the last 2 years she has been reading the Junie B. Jones books. I read them to her as a kindergartner and now she has read them on her own. They are pretty funny and that little Junie B sure gets into a lot of trouble. The musical theater up on 6th avenue was performing Junie B. Jones and a little Monkey Business so Mara and I made a date.

The play was just fabulous and we even got to meet Ms. Junie B herself. The theater was packed with children of all ages and although Mara and I had a blast I think Gracelyn would have loved it too.

The play runs this weekend as well if anyone is interested. If you have kiddos I really recommend it!

Headache

Lately Gracelyn has been telling me that she has a headache. I think it is beause I am constantly telling her to quiet down because you are giving mommy a headache. Then she asks for an ice pack... Helps every time!

The three amigos

Friday night we went to pizza with Carys, Haley and the girls. These girls were wiggle worms the entire time but oh so cute. They left the restaurant chanting "We are triplets". Could you imagine???

Scott

Just a quick picture of me and my biological dad Scott. I got to catch up with him a few weeks ago over coffee.

So I got a job..

The first week of October I started my new job at The Tacoma Weekly Newspaper working in their Ad department. Since then my life has been flipped upside down. To all you working moms out there I completely look up to you and admire your strength. Juggling it all is less then easy but I am 4 weeks in and I think I am finally getting the hang of it. Hey I am updating the blog.. Right???

Here is a recap of October...

Addyson turned "1" and had a big girl party. We love you :)

Gracelyn got to go on her first Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

The School had their annual Carnival... Cotton candy, cake walks and ponies!

Last Saturday Melanie and I took the girls to the zoo. It was a beautiful, crisp fall day and nobody was there. All the animals were out and we got to watch them eat. It was awesome!!

Then Friday night the girls and I went out to Believers Fellowship with Sarah and Emma for the Harvest Party. The girls had so much fun!

Then of course it was Halloween..
The day started off with a Halloween Birthday party at Debbies where we rolled the apples with our noses, wrapped up the "Mummies" and ate cupcakes! It was a very Happy Birthday for David and Declan.. Yay for being 5!

Then it was Trick or Treating at Proctor and off to see the relatives.. Whew what a day!
