Hands on Museum

Last week the girls and I along with Haley and Karys met Kelly and her girls in Olympia for an afternoon at the museum. The girls kids played for hours and had such a blast. The best part of all was the super artsy, creative fathers day cards that they made.

A New Adventure

Recently I was hired on to teach at First Presbyterian church School(where the girls go). I am so excited for this new adventure next fall. My entire life all I wanted to be was a teacher. After college I did some student teaching in Gig harbor but didn't go anywhere with it because motherhood presented itself. I am so grateful to have gotten this time home with my girls but I am really looking forward to using my degree. I have dabbled in so many different things over the years which have been good but just not very fulfilling. This is where my heart is and I can't wait to start!

Steppin up

Gracelyn graduated Preschool and stepped up to Junior K




Mara graduated 2nd grade and stepped up to 3rd grade. Mara made the national presidential physical fitness rankings and was a super reader with over 4,000 minutes.

My girls had a fantastic year at school and although they are looking forward to summer they can hardly wait for next year!

Self Portrait

Gracelyn had an assessment at child find recently. They asked her to draw a picture of me. I have to say I was quite impressed and she did such a nice job on my ears.

Ladybug

Gracelyn earned a dollar and so she wanted to spend it. A quick trip to the dollar store and we were transformed into a beautiful ladybug. I think she is pretty darn cute and I am certainly the lucky one!

Tea Party

The girls set up a tea party for me complete with snacks. It was oh so delicious and we had so much fun! Cheers...

Flip Flops

Check out my new custom designed flip flops. Mara surprised me with these flip flops that she made all by herself.
