Hooray for Trains!!

Well daddy finally did it!! The trains are up and running and the girls are just thrilled. You can see from their facial expressions that they think this is pretty darn fun!! The girls both learned how to use the controls. Gracelyn likes to crank it right into high gear! Whoo Hoo.. Yipee!!

To Pick or Not to Pick??

Gracelyn has realized that she has a nose and it has two holes in it. This has been her favorite position lately.













Once I draw attention to it and say "no.. no" she laughs. What a Goof!!

I Love Rock N' Roll

Daddy got out the electric guitars for Mara to play with. Needless to say she was completely enamored and wants to continue to play every night. So far she has named the guitars and has decided that she for sure wants to be a Rock Star and a singer when she grows up.

I am thinking we need some lessons first!!

A night of Disney

On Saturday my brother had is Homecoming dance at Stadium. The theme was Disney so him and his girlfriend Sami went as Tinkerbell and Peter Pan. It was so cute and funny at the same time. I am pretty sure this was the first and last time I will see my little brother wear tights!!




The girls had to get a picture with these two fairytale characters!!

Trains.. Trains and more Trains

This year is the year that Daddy decided we needed his childhood trains under our tree. Personally with a 1 year old daughter and a 1 year old cat I don't think it is that brilliant of an idea..but what do I know!!!

Now these trains have been quite the process.
First.. We had to go thru all the train boxes to make sure we had all the parts to set this up. Then we make a list and head to the train store to pick up the missing pieces.

Of course then there is the board, the paint, the fabric, the tracks, the tunnels and of course the houses!!

In these pics Gracelyn is helping Daddy draw out the design.

I will let ya know what the finished product looks like but I am telling ya it may be a while.. Next Christmas maybe??? hee hee

Crackin Away

Sunday morning Mara decided to make us scrambled eggies for breakfast. Daddy taught her to crack the egg and she did it perfect. No shells!!

Boy were they delicious!!

313th Holiday Party

Saturday was the squadrons holiday party. It was great to see everyone Justin works with as well as their spouses and kids. Everyone ate, drank, exchanged white elephant gifts and then had a date with Santa and Mrs Claus. The kids thought it was just great! They sang songs, read a christmas story, gave their Christmas wishes and then each one was given a present to open!! What fun!!

Mara received Blendy markers and Gracelyn got a musical animal book.




I got to mingle with my best bud Jolee. Having her around makes functions like these so fun to go to!!
