Last Stretch of Summer

Here is how we finished out our summer and began our new school year.

First Day of School. Mara enters 2nd grade(she has a desk this year) and Gracelyn started Preschool.









I got to have a long awaited lunch with McKenzie. It was wonderful and we had so much catching up to do!

My Great Auntie Diane turned 95.. what?? The girls are so lucky to still have her here!



Gracelyn and I went to the Olympia Hands on Childrens Mueseum. It was so much fun and we will certainly be returning soon! Gracelyn went grocery shopping, cooked me lunch, played Doctor and drove the ambulance!




Mara spent a week at Titlow day camp with her best bud Saige. This is one of the chalk art pieces she did. I was amazed!

I was invited to my Aunt Marianns house for a BBQ. Mariann is my real dads sister. I just love her and we have a great relationship. I know she is my aunt but she feels more like a sister!

Pappa No Toes ended up back in the ICU. We are 8 months and counting as far as being in the hospital. Just keep him in your prayers that we can get over this and get Pappa home for the holidays!

I also got to attend Tami's brothers wedding. Mark and Penny had a beautiful wedding and Addyson was the star of the show!

More catching up

Just when I thought I was going to be good again at catching up the blog, life takes over and I seem to have no time left in the day. Here are a few from back in August.

Scarlett turned "1". I think Gracelyn enjoyed the cake more then she did!



Gracelyn's best buddy Will came home from Kansas for a visit. We spent the week playing at the park, getting ice cream and going to the space needle for some fun.










Then we also got to spend some time with Addyson. Gracelyn and her spend most of the time under my kitchen table playing peek a boo. Addyson giggles every time I try to find her.

Catching up

So here I go with a glimpse into our life over the past month. The computer crashed 3 times so there was a lot that went on. I am just going to give you brief tid bits and a few pics to catch up. After that I will be back to blogging regularly. Whew I can't believe how quickly the summer has flown by.

Near the end of July I took the girls over to Vashon to ride the ferry,catch lunch at our favorite cafe and then we headed to the beach. It is a day trip that I have done with them for the past two summers and they just love it.






That next weekend I helped Mayumi with her wedding. I did the flowers, helped get her ready and sent her down the aisle to a life of blissful happiness. Mayumi is one of the models that I have worked with for years doing events and over the course of the past few years we have become really good friends. What a beauty!


Gracelyn had her last day of therapy at Birth to 3 with Liz and Sharmaine. It was a bitter sweet day. Bitter because these two gals were so wonderful for Gracelyns growth, my sanity and we no longer get to be with them. Sweet because Gracelyn is moving on, getting older and making progress. Our morning was spent at the zoo rather then in a session. Camels were rode, fits were thrown, tears were shed and big goodbyes were given. Fortunately they have stayed in contact with us, talked to Gracelyn and have continued to be a part of our life. Thank you Liz and Sharmaine... you were the best thing that ever happened to us!




Well then we turned "3". Happy Birthday Gracelyn.
Mamma loves you so much and can't believe what a big beautiful girl you have become. You melt my heart with those big blue eyes, long blond waves and your big hugs that make my heart overflow.

Thank you Jenna for the beautiful cake you made the little princess!






Then I go to sneek off with Sarah and Jocelyn to go see my annual Kenny concert. This year it was suite side and it rocked. All my favorite country artists rocked the house and we had a total blast.
Jaclyn showed up too so we caught a quick pic! Love you Jac..




SO there is plenty more for me to blog abut but I will save it for the course of the next few days.

Computer Crash

So on top of a very busy 2 weeks and lots to blog my computer crashed twice. I have finally gotten it back but none of my programs are loaded yet. Therefore I am not able to transfer any of my pictures yet. I have tons to blog about but you will just have to hold on a few more days until I can get back to order. I never knew how important my computer was to me until I lost it and everything in it. It is all recovered and I will be ok but the waiting is what kills me! A few more days.. Thanks!
